Eva Green says 300: Battle of Artemisia is based on a real person
"Oh yeah, I'm playing Artemisia. She really existed actually. She was commander on a boat, of a whole Armada. She's a very ballsy character, she's almost like a man, so that's fun. It's my first action film, it's going to be a challenge, [there will be] lots of training."
Rodrigo Santoro returns as Xerxes, who is persuaded by Artemisia to lead his massive army into battle against the Greeks in this new action tale directed by Noam Murro.
300: Rise of an Empire comes to theaters March 7th, 2014 and stars Eva Green, Rodrigo Santoro, Sullivan Stapleton, Mark Killeen, Jack O'Connell, Hans Matheson, Andrew Tiernan, Callan Mulvey. The film is directed by Noam Murro.

@comicbookfan -- Good luck on that one. I'll wait until it hits DVD/Blu-ray to see it. Let me know what you think of it, regardless.
