Yeah, The Day After Tomorrow 2! I'm for it! But this movie destroys landmarks all around the world. I guess The Eiffel Tower gets it two times this year. G.I. JOE and now this. I guess the hate the French have for us is mutual.
Yeah Yahzee, you make good points, but what about this..."There's AN statue....". LOL
I like the second poster with that bus flying off of that highway. "Oh, s**t! This wasn't supposed to be on the tour"!!
In the third poster, you can barely see the Washington Monument way in the backround, cracking apart.
Yes kingbrady. Air craft carriers only look small because we are always seeing them in the massive ocean, which dwarfs them in camparison. My cousin was in the Air Force and spent some time on it (Yes I know that's the Navy) but he said it was like a small city.

I want to know how they got John Cusack in this. He's probably my most favorite (living) actor. Interested to see how he'll play a role in a film like this. Come on, Emmerich. This had better be good. Prove to us again that you are the Master of Disaster, and no more retarded prehistoric movies! :P

You guys never thought of the fact that he keeps doing DISASTER movies because he's trying to tell us something?

Yeah everything seems a lot larger than they are. That Statue isn't that big I don't think (at least not from what I've seen in films) and that carrier shouldn't be 8x bigger than the whole White House haha.

The movie s going to be visually jaw dropping. Smithy lost all his credibility saying that Stargate and Universal Soldier were good. 10,000 BC was a big cluster of f*ck. And yes one of those ships is that big. An aircraft carrier (not all of them) is about 3 football fields.

first two photos are awesome, but would one of those ships actually be that massive in comparison to the white house?

The secound poster makes me think of the Tool song Aenima from the album Aenima. "Yes I'm praying for rain. I'm praying for tidal waves.I wanna' see the ground give way. I wanna watch it all go down. Ma' won't you please flush it all away."
Cool posters for sure, as for the film it might be good. Stargate was the only decent film he's made and Universal Soldier is not bad.
None the less Roland has been failing upwards since ID4 and we will be seeing more of this until the world ends.

The Narrator: The Better Man
I agree. This is only his 2nd huge disaster movie, and ID4 doesn't really count.

Roland Emmerich doesn't have the "disaster" class that Irwin Allen had!!
I HATED "Independence Day" .... SORRY IT SUCKED. Silly B Sci-Fi!
"The Day After Tomorrow" was silly!
"Godzilla" ... Can't even to talk about that mistake!
The posters are cool ...eye-catching ...I do like the last poster!!
The 2nd poster of LA reminds me of "Escape from L.A." from 1996!

I tell you the more I think about this movie .... I really can't imagine any way how on earth you could get flood waters rolling down a monastery in Tibet. What kind of sh*t reason can you come up to create all this extra water. Scientists say that if you melt all the ice in the world (ALL of it) the sea rise is on 100 feet. Again SH*T

wizdome
Bah pure fiction...something will happen but not so devastating that it threatens the entire human population of the earth though. Knowing Emmerich it will be another special effects extravanganza!

There's an statue like that aslo in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Just pointing that out. And... how Emmerich is getting crappy nowadays???? The last movie he did was 10,000 BC and that is not a disaster movie (please avoid the easy jokes on that one) Before that he made The Day After Tomorrow and before that The Patriot.
I mean, in 8 years he made ONE disaster movie before this one. Please take a moment to think before posting comments like that

LMAO Fallen, the Jesus monument in Rio De Janeiro has appeared in many films.
City of God, Romeo & Juliet just to name 2 top of the head.
I like the first one the best, the other 2 suck.
Emmerich is getting crappy now days, all he keeps doing is disaster movies, do something else for a change, these are getting all repetitive.
I want to know how this guy keeps pitching films like this and manages to get a bloody budget
The Day After Tomorrow 2 )basically)
