Michael Pena, Brad Dourif and Bill Cobbs are the latest cast additions to Werner Herzog's upcoming psychological thriller My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done? According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Lynch is acting as executive producer on the project.

The film is based on the real life story of a San Diego man that brutally murdered his own mother with a sword after experiencing a series of mystifying events. Michael Shannon, Willem Dafoe and Chloe Sevigny have also been cast in the film.

The thriller will begin shooting soon in the Los Angeles area.
