come on frenzy and fallen whats the deal with the darker side of things sure i admit robin hood has been done several times, but come on if your refiring to being like batman come'on already leave the darkness to batman it seems like now everyone is saying do this darker or do that darker but i know that idea is going to pass just as quickly as 3d movies will again like they did 30 years ago ,sure if the robin hood movie was done by the sheriffs point of view That would be different and interesting to watch, i think ridley scott and russell crow will pull off another gladiator movie it will be good no matter what....

For once I agree with Fallen, I would have very much liked to have seen the tried and true story of Robin Hood, turned upsidedown.

I think even taking it a step further into the odd yet cool category, would be telling the same tale that we all know (steal from the rich give to the poor) but from the Sheriff's point of view, Robin still looking like the good guy to the audiance, but the Sheriff putting his own spin on things to make himself look as though he is just a victim of circ*mstance, and in doing so, casting himself as the goodguy.

    P.S. I loved the trailer

Uhm, that was a different trailer Kranendonk, but similar to this. Trust me I saw Avatar and New Moon as well.

This looks pretty awesome except one thing...

Why did they not go with the original twist? About Robin Hood being darker and the Sherrif being the good guy. I mean come on, that would have been kick ass, especially with Bale as the green tights wearer! However, I guess they gave up and sold out for more seats, and gave into Crowe's demands (he didn't want to star with Bale sadly).

Ok ...Not to sure about this...this is not like any Robin Hood legend I ever heard of!!!!

But with a cast, which includes: Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Danny Huston, Max von Sydow ..& directed by Ridley Scott ...I will be there opening weekend ..

"Robin Hood" lQQks better than the Kevin Costner flop!
