Josh Brolin, meet your new Vice-President. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Richard Dreyfus has signed on for the role of Vice-President Dick Cheney in Oliver Stone's George W. Bush biopic, W.
This is the last major role to be cast, with Dreyfus joining an administration that includes Josh Brolin as current President George W. Bush, Thandie Newton as Condoleeza Rice and Elizabeth Banks as the First Lady Laura Bush.
Filming will begin this month in Shreveport, Louisiana. The production has received a waiver from SAG, due to the possibility of an actors strike. The film is tenatively set for an October release, just before the November elections and a DVD will be released in January, just before Bush leaves the Oval Office.
