Writers Guild of America and Lionsgate Ink an Agreement

Source:  WGA
The Writers Guild of America has signed an interim agreement with the independent studio Lionsgate. The studio's deal with the WGA is similar to deals made with United Artists, Spyglass Entertainment, Mandate Films, MRC, Worldwide Pants, Jackson Bites and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment.

Over the last few years, Loinsgate has become a large independent force in the film and television industry. The company saw continued success by branching into the family entertainment and video-on-demand markets.

The WGA strike has been in effect since November 5th.

Finally! It's slowly coming to and end! Movies cant progress without the writers and we all know this. So as soon as the strike ends, we will start to see some really good movies, like the ones before this whole mess!

I'm real big into Lionsgate films so this is good news, now if only the rest of the studios would do the same.
