yeah i really think he could make a really good villian. i mean who saw John Travolta being the awesome villian he was in Broken Arrow, which is definitely a film that does not get enough credit. I think he would do a great job....if anyone would ever cast him in that kind of role.

I must agree with you Joker, Mr. Smith has it going on, It's like he has the Midas touch! This film is about to explode here in Europe! It's going to be interesting and cool to see him play as a villian, because of that good guy image. I'm sure he can play any role that is laid out infront of him.

yeah Will does seem to have his fair share of luck on getting in the highest grossing films. He is a great actor. i love watching him perform. i am curious to see how he would do as a villian tho. i would be very curious to see it.

I personally think that with Will Smith behind the wheel on this one it will finally be a success. i know this movie will be awesome. I think Will Smith is a phenominal actor. always has been since his days as the fresh prince. I know he will pull this off. and don't go to much into the fake looking special effects, they have til December to get all the kinks worked out. This movie will be awesome.

2MovieGuys, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Your just rambling on about nothing. Who gives a rats ass if a movie has been done once, twice or twenty times. Somewhere along the way someone is going to get it right.
And as for your comment about acting against CG characters, well now you just sound like a moron (no offense) because when you are getting emotional and having to react convincingly against something that is not there, then my friend you are really acting. That is when you can separate the mediocre actors from the best. And as everyone (except you) knows, Will Smith does not take roles because he needs to pay rent.
I personally dont know if this movie is going to be any good or not. I hope it is, but at least I am going to give it a chance. Aside from the slightly fake looking special effects, it looks great.

I'am still trying to figure out how & why Hollywood is going to "try" to breath life into a 3rd Re-Make of a film which has been already 2xs before???
Once U have seen the Orginial W./Vincent Price, & then the 2nd Re-Telling (or whatever term that is demeeded necessary) W./Charlton Heston there is really no reason for a 3rd!
.....& to call Will Smith an actor for being in a action film where U are supported W./SE etc is not acting, acting is when Will Smith was in "Six Degrees of Separation", or when he attempted it yet again W./ "The Pursuit of Happyness"! This is called "I Need to pay rent"!
