In this update of Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth, Brendan Fraser will portray a geologist who, with his teenage son, discovers a message hidden in an ancient artifact, leading them into a previously unseen world. "Journey 3-D" will be shot in live action, with the otherworldly landscapes and creatures supplied by high-definition, photo-real 3-D technology.
Journey to the Center of the Earth was released July 11th, 2008 and stars Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson, Anita Briem, Seth Meyers, Jean Michel Paré, Jane Wheeler, Frank Fontaine, Giancarlo Caltabiano. The film is directed by Eric Brevig.

Agreed... haha Brendan Fraser seems to do well with CGI material (aka the two Mummy movies). I say... Its just gonna be a fun movie. No seriousness about it. So sit back and just... enjoy.

agreed, why not.... sometimes it's good to watch a movie that's just pure eye-candy and cheese, just to relax those brain muscles from all the more intelligent films we have to digest. Plus Brendan Fraser seems to have a flare for making these types of films entertaining and somewhat believable despite the overall ridiculousness of it all.
