Based on the 1951 classic, The Day the Earth Stood Still is set to be the sci-fi thrill ride of this Christmas season. Scott Derrickson's film sees Keanu Reeves doing what he does best, and that's acting as a savior to humanity. The Christ-like allegory should go well with our upcoming holiday season. 20th Century Fox has just released two brand new TV spots in support of The Day the Earth Stood Still.
