Director Peter Jackson has always kept his Facebook fans apprised on the latest updates regarding The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, with video blogs from the set and much more. Today, the filmmaker revealed 14 new character photos from this Middle Earth adventure. Take a look at these shots featuring Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Balin (Ken Stott), Bifur (William Kircher), Bofur (James Nesbitt), Bombur (Stephen Hunter), Dori (Mark Hadlow), Dwalin (Graham McTavish), Fili (Dean O'Gorman), Gloin (Peter Hambleton), Kili (Aidan Turner), Nori (Jed Brophy), Oin (John Callen), Ori (Adam Brown), and Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage).














The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was released December 14th, 2012 and stars Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Ken Stott, Graham McTavish, William Kircher, James Nesbitt, Stephen Hunter. The film is directed by Peter Jackson.

I'm loving the different distinctions between the dwarves, and am also very glad that they removed the colorful hoods that were mentioned so dominantly in the book.
