According to the EW article, shooting is less than two weeks away in Shreveport, Louisiana, although there is still work to do on the "evolving" script and Dick Cheney has yet to be cast. A release date hasn't been slated as of yet, although it is said this could be released as early as October, before the 2008 Presidential Elections.

that's B.S. Space101... we see more than enough of Barack Obama on t.v. I barely see George Bush now with all the hype of the presidential election.

What the hell is this? Seems to be the popular question for this movie. Like we don't see G.W. Bush enough on tv, we gotta do a movie about him? Wow....I seriously dont know what to think about this movie...

A strange concept of a film in my opinion.

It seems like a sudo-cult rebellious film that will cause controversy without a doubt.

Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Banks are both talented actors, im not sure what their idea is witrh this film though.

Im not intersested in this movie at all, but if the controversy of it calls my attention, i might look into it.

Hehe that's... weird.. I totally can't recognize Josh. And yeah I think it's kinda early to do this movie, but, I respect Oliver Stone a lot - if anything, because he speaks his mind. So I'll just wait and see. :)

LOL!!!! Doesn't even look like Bush!! I'm thinking just like the rest of you...Is this going to be a comedy!?!?!

This will be some strange cult film in years to come!!!

I love Oliver Stone...but I think he finally lost his marbles!!

LMAO!!!! I agree with nateman. hollywood now does historical movies right after the incident happened. Example : United 93. Look at movies like Pearl Harbor and Titanic. They made those movies years later after the incidents occured.

He looks more like Oliver Stone than George W. Maybe in about 10 years this would be a good idea but not right now. His term isn't even over yet.

Not what I expected at all. I think Oliver Stone is great, but what the hell is right.
