Uwe Boll Done with Big-Budget Affairs

It seems that Uwe Boll's big budget money train might have made it's last stop.

After disasterous grosses from his latest pic In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, it seems that Boll will stick to the smaller flicks from now on.

"In the future, I will focus on smaller films such as Postal or Tunnel Rats," the director said from his home in Maintz, Germany. "These are films that represent my true passion, and can be done and smaller budgets."

Boll had previously secured his escalating budgets through German tax fund shelters, but now those shelters have been banned in Germany and the director's latest film flop will make it even harder for him to secure a budget.

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale took 14th place at the box office this past weekend - despite his pleas to American moviegoers - taking in just $3.2 million domestically.

Up next for Boll is yet another videogame adaptation, Zombie Massacre.
