Superman Returns 2 to Start Filming in 2008

Bookmark: Digg Bookmark del.icio.us Bookmark Technorati Bookmark Furl Bookmark

Robert Meyer Burnett, videographer on Superman Returns and director of the behind-the-scenes documentary Requiem for Krypton: Making 'Superman Returns' wrote briefly, in a BlueTights.net Q&A session, about when the sequel will begin filming:

Angeloz asks if I'm coming back to work on the sequel. The answer is...I'm ALREADY working on the sequel. Bryan, Brandon and the whole merry bunch will be coming back...and filming will probably begin March, 2008, as was always planned from the beginning. The WWII film Bryan plans to shoot over the summer will have NO EFFECT whatsoever on the Superman sequel schedule.

to read the story last week about how there had been speculation that Bryan Singer would delay filming the Superman Returns sequel, as he had been tapped to direct an upcoming World War II movie for United Artists.

Where to start ok about a another Superman movie a few things that MUST happen first NO MORE LEX come on now Superman has so many enemies don't keep using the same one. Second PLEASE NO ZOD!!!!!!! Give him an exciting enemy one we haven't seen yet Darkseid, Doomsday, Mongul someone but make it exciting.
Third please NO MORE LEX (can't say that enough) and the krytonite and making Superman cry he didn't even cry when Doomsday killed him so dont do it in the movie. Stay true to the comics/cartoon Destory cities make building fall. Transformers had the right idea thats how it was fought in the shows, comics highways destoryed people killed so do them in the movies! trust me im a fan and thats what ppl are looking for it would be in your best interest to take info from the public on this one. Not some Cheeesy love story where SUperman cries.

Superman returns sucked Ass. Plz, Singer and Routh leave the franchise b/4 you ruin a comic legend. Critics who loved this movie where either chicks or gay men. Singer stop given beloved comic book characters your personal issues. WB execs if you are listening offer the Smallville cast and crew a movie of its own with a hefty budget and compare it to Returns box office take. Returns sucked ass. Routh is a horrible actor who can't fill Reeves socks. If they make another bad movie this will be the last SM movie until execs properly find a person who can give it a proper reboot.

i think superman returns was the best one yet. i hope filming for returns 2 starts soon, i am suprised it is not yet. but for sure need to have the same kid init. showing him discovering some of his powers in some way. i think this would make a great tv series as well having supermans son 8 or 9 years old learning his powers. not a teen that already been done.............does anybody know if the kid is comeing back.......tommy
