Scott Bakula Joins Matt Damon in The Informant

Scott Bakula has landed the second lead role starring opposite Matt Damon in The Informant, Steven Soderbergh's espionage thriller for Warner Independent.

Variety reported Bakula will play Brian Shepherd, an FBI agent who exposes an international price-fixing scheme with the help of biochemist Mark Whitacre (Damon). The film is based on a true story.

No production date has been set.
