Rene Zellweger is finishing negotiations to star in My One and Only, a comedy based on a childhood experience from actor George Hamilton. According to Variety, Richard Loncraine has signed on to direct the Charlie Peters screenplay.
My One and Only is a true story that focuses on the glamorous Anne Deveraux (Zellweger) as she drives down the Eastern seaboard from city to city in a search for a wealthy man to fund a new life for her and her sons.
Filming for My One and Only is scheduled to start in April on location on the East Coast.
