Amy Adams to Star in Night at the Museum 2

Amy Adams is currently in negotiations to star with Ben Stiller in 20th Century Fox's Night at the Museum 2: Escape From the Smithsonian. According to Variety, Shawn Levy will return to direct the Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon and Scott Frank screenplay.

Adams will portray an undetermined historical figure that has a crush on security guard Larry (Stiller). Levy's 21 Laps is producing the sequel along with 1492 Pictures. Filming has been scheduled for a May start date on location in Vancouver.

Night at the Museum 2: Escape From the Smithsonian is scheduled to be released May 22nd, 2009.

Wow I'm a little behind I didn't know there was going to be a 2nd movie, very cool. I really enjoyed the 1st one.

i thought the first one was great and this seems to be even better with addition of Amy Adams and of course Reese Witherspoon is in this as well!

The first one was really good, and I like Amy Adams. This one could be just as funny.

& what happend to Reese Wetherspoon, I heard she signed on for the sequel?? Did she drop out!?
