New ‘Dark Skies’ Poster Hints at a Shadowy Alien Invasion

Scott Stewart directs this intense thriller about a young family whose son has been targeted by an evil alien force.

The Dimension Films thriller Dark Skies, opening in theaters next weekend, presents a horrifying scenario for any family. After a string of bizarre happenings around their home, two parents (Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton) come to learn that an alien force is targeting their child (Dakota Goyo). The studio has unveiled a new poster that looks simple enough, with a young boy standing alone in the dark with his teddy bear. However, the boy's shadow hints that something very sinister resides within him. Take a look at this one-sheet for director Scott Stewart's supernatural fright-fest, which makes one wonder where this young lad's parents are.

Dark Skies was released February 22nd, 2013 and stars Keri Russell, Josh Hamilton, Dakota Goyo, Kadan Rockett, J.K. Simmons, L.J. Benet, Rich Hutchman, Myndy Crist. The film is directed by Scott Stewart.

    I like some of the people involved, and that's a cool enough poster but the movie has yet to WOW me with it's advertising.
