There are four college-age kids driving cross-country, researching a book on weird roadside attractions...This stuff has kind of disapeared now, but it was very prevalent in the 70's- like 'World's Biggest Ball of String,' 'Bigfoot Museum,' things like that. So they stumble upon this place called 'Captain Sapulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen.' It's basically a serial killer museum in the middle of nowhere, and Captain Sapulding is played by Sid [Spider Baby] Haig- he's the crazy-looking clown guy. So they go there and learn about this local legend in that area, a murderer called Dr. Satan, whom they find out was killed not too far away. So they want to go take pictures of this site, and once they go off-road in search of this thing, that's when all hell breaks loose. |

Everyone knows a person like Ben - the perfect Asian American high school teen - extremely intelligent, a perfectionist, overachiever whose tunnel vision leads to nothing less than graduating at the top of the class and acceptance to the best Ivy League university. Ben lives in an upper middle class, conservative suburb of Orange County, California. As Ben struggles to achieve social success in high school, we discover his darker side. Along with two friends, Virgil, a brilliant yet awkward, overeager and socially inept misfit, and Virgil's cousin Han, a lost soul with more brawn than brains, Ben leads a double life of mischief and petty crimes that alleviate the pressures of perfection. At the start of his high school freshman year, Ben befriends Daric, the senior valedictorian ? another archetypical overachiever and perfectionist. But Daric is somewhat odd. While being the most intelligent student in the class, he also seems to be the most volatile and dangerous. Behind his trusting and benevolent fa�ade lies a lurking secret, a timebomb ready to explode. With Daric at the helm, this group of misfit teens bands together into a suburban gang. Upon her arrival she is met by her older, divorced sister and her younger withdrawn, slacker sister. A Kashmiri Indian belle by the name of Reshma is asked by Indian anti-terrorists police officer, Arun, to spy on Pakistani spies. She agrees to spy for them. Through her, the Indian government is able to thwart a plot, resulting in the death of Pakistani terrorist Issak Khan. Due to this, Arun and Reshma first become friends, then fall in love, and hope to get married. On the day of their engagement, a big bomb explodes, disrupting the ceremony. Reshma is badly injured, and is looked after in Canada by a kind woman named Shaheen. Reshma is all set to recuperate and start a new life, when she comes across Arun, who is also in Canada to search for a funder who is financing terrorism in India. She is shocked to find out that Arun is now getting married to Shaheen, and feels that he may be using young woman around the world to get further promotions in his job as an Indian policeman. |
