The Ninth Gate

Dean Corso (Johnny Depp) is highly skilled at his work - locating rare books for wealthy collectors - a position that requires dexterity, cultural expertise, nerves of steel ... and few scruples. Corso is hired by eminent book-lover and scholar of demonology, Boris Balkan (Frank Langella), Corso's mission: to compare Balkan's newly acquired edition of the legendary manual of satanic invocation, The Nine Gates of the Kingdom of the Shadows, with the two remaining copies located in Europe, and ascertain the authenticity of the three books. From New York to Toledo, Portugal to Paris, Corso immerses himself in a labyrinth full of pitfalls and temptations, disturbing encounters, violence and mysterious deaths. Protected by an other-worldly creature (Emmanuelle Seigner) and guided by a force more powerful than himself, the hunter solves one by one the mysteries of the dreaded book and discovers the real purpose of his mission.

Mission to Mars

In 2020, NASA has successfully landed a team of astronauts on Mars. Shorlty after their arrival on the Red Planet, however, the explorers encountered something bizarre, shocking and chilling that hastens a catastrophic and mysterious disaster that decimates the crew -- but not before Graham is able to send one last cryptic message back to Earth. Haunted by the horrifying last communication from the astronauts, NASA hurriedly launches a rescue mission to investigate and retrieve any survivors. This Mars Recovery Mission face nearly insurmountable dangers on their journey through space and make an amazing discovery when they finally reach Mars.

A man's first day out of prison should be a joyous occasion, but on this day Rob Douglas is a brother whose good luck is on "lock down" -- just like he was in L.A. County Jail. Released after serving time for his second legal infraction, Rob's first taste of freedom becomes a sour one when he becomes an unwitting accomplice in a car theft and a shoot out with the LAPD. Another conviction spells a 25 year to life sentence for Rob, so with the police hot on his trail, Rob embarks on an uproarious comic adventure to clear his name and avoid his third strike at any cost!

Willard Fillmore (Macdonald), the abused and underappreciated chauffeur to Miss Crock (Elaine Stritch), the employer from hell, has devised a foolproof plan for revenge. Along with his hot-headed best friend Rusty (Chappelle), he will kidnap the nasty woman's prized pooch, holding it ransom. But when the dog escapes, Miss Crock mistakenly comes to the conclusion that it's her chauffeur who's been kidnapped. Flustered, the guys try to cover their tracks by employing a creepy mortician, Grover Cleaver (DeVito), but he only triples their problems. The confusion escalates out of control, resulting in a hilarious comedy of errors and a bungled crime which is Screwed!
