William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet

Welcome to Verona Beach, a sexy, violent other-world, neither future nor past, ruled by two rival families, the Montagues and the Capulets. Wealthy, selfish, ruthless and powerful, the parents share an enmity that has become the birthright of their offspring. So begins Shakespeare's beloved play "Romeo & Juliet," which is celebrating its 400th anniversary this year. These famous lines and the vivid language of this cautionary tale drive director Baz Luhrmann's cinematic interpretation.

Bad Moon

An adventurous photojournalist, Ted (MICHAEL PARE) has always responded to the call of the wild, traveling to the ends of the earth to capture his images. On one of his expeditions deep in the jungles of Nepal, he encounters a horrific, half-human beast that savagely murders his girlfriend. In a violent battle, Ted manages to blow the creature's head off -- but not before he receives a vicious bite that leaves him scarred forever... in more ways than one. After his devastating journey, Ted returns to the pastoral Pacific Northwest, welcomed back to the inviting home of his sister, Janet (MARIEL HEMINGWAY), and his beloved 10-year-old nephew, Brett (MASON GAMBLE). Although Janet encourages Ted to move onto their picturesque property on the edge of a dense forest, she notices a disturbing change in her brother: he has a furtive way of avoiding her questions and a strange glint in his eye. Janet isn't the only one in the family who notices a difference in Ted. While Brett is overjoyed to reunite with his uncle, it is Thor, the family's intuitive, protective German Shepherd, who senses a threat in the man he has always trusted. When the murdered body of a hiker is discovered near the lake where Ted has been staying, Janet doesn't make a connection. But Thor does...and a deadly battle of wills begins.

Larger Than Life

Meet Jack Corcoran (Bill Murray), motivational speaker to the masses in mini-malls and rented halls across the country. Take Jack's advice: if life isn't all that you expected, put aside all those wouldas, couldas and shouldas and Get over it! The reality is that Jack's dad was a circus clown and just passed on, leaving his son a hefty inheritance: his 8,000 pound trained circus elephant (Tai) named Vera (after Jack's mother), who comes complete with a trunkful of debts. Jack- in order to pay off his debts, decides to sell Vera(Tai). The problem is getting 8,000 pounds to travel over 2,000 miles, in 5 days. It's a predicament truly larger than life!

Romeo & Juliet

Shakespeare's famous play is updated to the hip modern suburb of Verona still retaining its original dialogue. The gun-toting members of the families wage a vicious war on the streets as the star-crossed lovers, their tragic destiny.
