So, good old Mike ends up kidnapped by Dr. Forrester, trapped on the Satellite of Love, and he's forced to watch really cheesy movies with his robot pals, Tom Servo, Crow and Gypsy, while Dr. Forrester monitors his mind.
Diabolical, yes. But in the grand tradition of celluloid heroes, past and present, Mike triumphs over the evil Dr. Forrester by actually having FUN with the experiment. How? He does what any other normal, healthy human being does while watching a really bad movie: he talks back to the screen.
