Former Saturday Night Live star David Spade plays Joe Dirt, a DJ who goes looking for his white-trash parents (Fred Ward and Caroline Aaron) who purposely abandoned him in the Grand Canyon when he was 8 years old for being too obnoxious. Kid Rock also joins the cast, playing a romantic rival to Spade.
