THE HOBBIT (2011)

Peter Jackson is the Executive Producer as well as having a hand in writing the script. Del Toro is going to honor Jacksons vision while at the same time adding his own style. This movie, is going to fucking rule. I cant wait to see who they get for Smaug's voice. And McKellan and Serkis will both be reprising their roles(thank god). Can you imagine someone else as Gandalf?

i've been waiting for this since lord of the rings came out. i just wish it would have come out before. i still can't wait. and peter jackson has something to do with it, so i heard.

my thoughts exactly. i think he will either try to be like pj and fall short, or he will try to recreate middle earth for us like some test subjects. the only way he can pull it off is to focus and ask advise from pj but stay true to the book. not recreate to his taste. he has to adapt.

God. I love the hobbit. Why doens't peter Jackson directs it. He would make it insane. Have a feeling Del Torro will screw it up...

oh. i think legolas should make a cameo role in this. like at the battle of the five armies.
