Now they are talking a reboot. Still, two villains I would pick are Brainiac and Metallo. And of course Luthor as you gotta have him in a side story, hopefully LexCORP, where he clones Superman's Kryptonian DNA or something. That's another thing: show more Kryptonian heritage. I wanna see the language heiroglyphics and Superman decipher them. Whatever the case, Brainiac finally needs to get his deserved dues, he was a potential for too long, now its time to make him a possibility, reboot or not. Who's with me?

It wasnt that bad... Im just ready to see him fight something (braniac 13) or someone (bizzaro) that can actually whoop his ass a lil bit.

I meant returns wasn't terrible.

I thin "you all" need to chill on Singer. He didn't do anything wrong. He didn't write the script, just directed it. So its not fully his fault, and Returns was terrible. It was petty decent, and Routh is a good supes.

And haven't any of you heard of Mark Millers script. If it goes that way, then Man of Steel will be epic beyond proportion.

and X2 didn't suck. All you guys want is a good bad guy, and mindless action. grow up.

And I just read that the SR writer who is returning to writing duties on Man of Steel has leaked info on Superman: The Man Of Steel to have TWO villains!!

Well a fan favorite villain that was rumored to be in Superman III and early on to be in Superman Returns was Brainiac. Too many of these movies -- scratch that -- ALL, EVERY SINGLE ONE of these movies features Lex Luthor as the main villain. I think Superman fans have had their Lex fix. And now it seems there is a rumor that Brainiac will be the villain for Superman: The Man of Steel.

God, I hope so.

Superman DOES have a rogues gallery, you idiot Hollywood writers. Brainiac would be the ultimate challenge for Superman. He's a being from the far reaches of space just like Kal-El. He can also tie in to the story of Krypton and Jor-El. He is an intelligent, information-gethering destroyer.

Other than that, I do like the idea of Lex starting LexCORP. And I read on here that Spacey is definitely back to play Lex again. EGAD!!

I completly agree with arthurg. that movie was BORING you got the most powerful superhero ever an you spend majority of the film blabering away. in a word: Singer sucks he messed up the X men movies which in themselves hardly any action. What supes needs is A villian he can go toe 2 toe with. Like mettlo or Doomsday. Now i'd pay 2 c that!

i think superman returns was good but not great. with all that money they had it should of been alot better with 10 times more action. singer shouldn't do "the man of steel" he sucks. all he's going to do is give us 90% talking and 10% action. this movie needs a director that will turn singers superman into SUPERMAN. the only thing i do want to see return from singers superman returns movie is brandon routh. he was great in the movie and i know he can also take superman to the next level. you can get rid of everyone else but keep routh.

OK I'm going to tell every one how they should make this movie (I'm smart like that)
Lex Luther should be taken over by brainiac to make him a body
and an early try gives us metallo
better villain more action
and dont make lex a comedian thats sucks
he should start Lexcorp.
and enter into a partnership with wayne enterprizes setting up batman vs. superman
