a great movie ending could not have been any better sometimes there is no happy ending sorry people thats life go cry somewhere else

One of the good King adaptations. The ending was awesome, King even thought it was a great ending to the movie.

The movie was ok. Nothing special. The ending did exactly what it was supposed to do. Make people talk about the movie and about what they would do in THAT situation. The fact that it was a somber ending is probably what kept the movie from making more money. Fighting monsters in a Mist trying to keep your family alive is what Sci-Fi movies are all about.

I still need to watch the Movie from beginning to End.

come on 'vipor1988', although most people that are reading these comments would have already watched the movie, I'm sure there are some that are yet to and would not appreciate you giving away the ending.

i liked the movie a lot, but i also agree the acting could have been a lot better, and the gore was awesome as hell, but for me the ending was incredibly sad and depressing, if he just waited a little bit longer he could have kept his son and new-found friends.

This movie never got a great release in Australia but i managed to see it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was very different to the common horror movie in that it had characters with depth, sub-plots and a story that truly captured me rather than relying purely on visual effects.
No one will see the end coming - one that is tragic to the point that i am sure Stephen King and Shakespeare would have gotten along well!
I hope great Stephen King film adaptations such as this continue to be made as to me they are the best horror / thriller films - did anyone else HATE 'one missed call'??? (another film that -thank god- didn't receive a big cinema release)

this movie had a great story and a great ending it was so unexpected. watch it you wont regret it. and i also thought that the guys neighbor was a real duchbag but what do i know

It's one of Stephen King's mastrepiece I really love the time I watch it I was on the edge of my seat Stephen King movies really rocks.

the movie itself was alright...casting could be questioned..but they did a decent job. marcia gay harden's character was so damn annoying...i was glad to see go..(sorry for spoiler, if any)i have to say, though, the ending was the biggest surprise i've seen on film in a long time...up there with...usual suspects, primal fear...it was sad but great..took away the "happy ending" that was expected! good popcorn movie..

By far the best Stephen King novel inspired movie in since Needful Things. The ending was perfect and left me wanting more.

I've got two sons, couldn't imagine being put in that situation at the end of the movie. Expect for the ending it wasn't that bad.

I was sad for the guy at the end, if he had waiting like 5 mins longer he wouldn't of had to do that. But it was an ok movie.

I liked it good ending and sad too. But I don't know why Stephen Kings movies are so long. It's almost like the movie "It".

good movie, I liked the characters, its amazing how ppl act in times of fear, the ending was great and painfull, it's just how its supposed to be, the only thing I didnt like was Tom Jane, he was not perfect for the role
