 | | | | | | As a wealthy Paris businessman, Paul (Lindon), and his wife, Helene (Frot), are driving to a social event, a young woman (Brakni) comes runing at them, asking to be let in their car, before being beaten on their windshield by a group of men, which lands her in a coma. Feeling guilty over their inaction, Helene spends time with the girl, Noemie, whom she discovers is a prostitute who was sold into slavery by her family back in Algeria. Helene continues to help her as Noemie's pursuers continue to try to snatch her to send her back to Algeria, in an attempt at escape that draws the two women closer. |
