I'd love to have them do an X-Men, maybe introduce the Legacy Virus, Gambit, Sinister, and maybe with a follow up Apocalypse for the next.

*Spoiler if you haven't seen X-Men 3* Plus if I'm not mistaken, didn't Magneto get some of his mutant abilities back at end of the last stand? plus there is the whole Xavier after credits situation. Ratner left too much messed up to do another movie, but if a writer & director feel they can manage it, I say go for it.

to moviebuff:they should definitly(how do you spell it?)do a back story about how storm came to be. a pickpockets from cairo working for the shadow king,who used to cage her in a box whenever she failed a job,until she was rescued by gambit.

Superman is a one dimensional character, thats been established, no need 2 go 2 hrs into chacter development, ie BORING. I've read X men all my life an while it is character based, it also was a summer blockbuster. you need big fight scenes that blend in with good character development such as in Iron man. and while i agree with you 100% on thew main character deaths,it put new spins on other chacters such as storm becoming headmaster and Wolverine taking on more of a leadership role.While it wasent as good as the other "masterpieces" it was a good popcorn flick staring some of my favorate fictional characters, it should not fit into continuity withe this new x4.

No X3 took a completely different direction than the prequels. It was made into a one line character display and took the story and killed off characters that they didn't want to write a story line for. It was condensed into a Hollywood action movie vs. Singer's in depth fairy tale of the assembled heroes. In essence it is a bad movie incomparable to the previous masterpieces. While Superman did not need the drawn out story line. The same formula does not apply to every movie. X-men is a character driven story, each hero has to have there place to fit in to the mix, needing longer air time, it can't be shrunk into a 1.5 hour film. Superman was already defined he did not need the drawn out intro back into society.

X 3 wasent that bad. sure it wase'nt the best but they did there best with a short notice director. but i do they should keep Singer out. his movies don't have alot of action, (i.e superman returns) an u need action in a superhero movie. he should stick 2 making boring superman movies. now Zack Snider would be an awsome choice. imagine what he could do with Apocalypse!

If they do this they need to leave Ratner on the bench. I'm all for Singer coming back in but they need to write off 3 as a bad dream and pick-up the story line from XM2. Bring on the apocalypse.

That was hi-larious...but yeah storm isnt the best and hugh jackman got the self movie becuase one hes hot and two he's probably the only one they could get back on...besides in the last movie she got her ass handed to her by that teleporter chick...and im sorry but if you put your opinions on the net for everyone to read you gotta know that people arent going to agree...its kinda that dont sit by the pool if you dont wanna get wet lesson...sorry

im with u matrix. ive read x men comics since i was a kid. an storm jus doesent have alot of depth. sure she gots a cool power but that doesent equel personality.an movie buff, the cartoon was kinda lame looking back. an if u didint already here they have a new cartoon coming out called "Wolverine and the x men. how's that 4 being the main one? owned.

storm is a little crybaby bitch. she has an ok power but she's all clostraphobic and stuff. i think the need to get some of the better characters from the commic in the next movie like gambit, forge, mojo, and perhaps mr sinister. as far as storm is concerned...they could kill her off and noone would ever notice. she's weak mentily, physicly, and even in the comic they rarly ever payed her any attention.

P.S. Wolverine could SOOOO kick her ass!!!

no he is not the best i dnt think he is storm took over the school she thinks not like wolverine he is self person and its selffish ...and he is gettng the solo movie cuz he has backstory to work and whatever just like in x2 the movie is more about him if u look in the cartoon storm is kinda the main one so stop!!!!!!!!!

Wolverine MADE the x'men. If it weren't 4 him thed jus be a bunh of whiny punks crying about how the world hates them. He's the best there is which is why he's getting his own solo movie.
