Buckle your seat belt and prepare for the ride of your life. Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) returns in this action-packed edge-of-your-seat adventure that has him on the final hunt to decode his past and finally find out who he really is and what happened to him. You better put eye drops in your eyes as you'll want to keep them wide open during this intense film.
Filmed in Morocco, Spain, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and the United States, this story takes Bourne around the world in his quest to find his past, while at the same time he is being hunted by those who made him who he is. Whether he's jumping from rooftop to rooftop, in a car chase, running through the streets, in a motorcycle chase, or just trying to put the clues together, Bourne is always surrounded by intensity and intrigue.
In 2002 Damon first starred in the original film, The Bourne Identity, and followed in 2004 with The Bourne Supremacy. You might want to rent these previous films to catch up or refresh your memory about the previous adventures of Jason Bourne before going to this film, however it's not a prerequisite in order to enjoy this heart-pounding movie.
Bourne, a black-ops operative trained in assassination, has come full circle from the first day he signed up for the job. It's time for him to realize what his life has been about since joining the team. From Moscow to Paris, London, Madrid, Tangier and finally New York, Bourne puts the pieces together while the CIA is also focused on the pieces - with a shoot to kill order out on him. But his training allows him to outsmart even their best agents. After all, he's Jason Bourne!
Damon says about his character, "He gave them an ultimatum at the end of (The Bourne) Identity: He'll come back with everything he's got if he feels them behind him." And that is exactly what this movie is all about.
Producer Frank Marshall says "Matt embodies exactly what Mr. Ludlum would have wanted in the character. For example, he doesn't look like an assassin, even though he's a trained one; he is contemporary and able to slip invisibly into the world. That's the character Ludlum painted." Robert Ludlum wrote the Bourne spy books from which the films were taken.
Co-starring Joan Allen, Julia Stiles, and Jason Strathairn, this film will have you wondering how they packed so much into this 111-minute thriller. It's definitely an e-ticket ride!
