It's bad enough they're doing a remake of one of the truly classic sci-fi films of all time, but with Keanu Reeves in the lead? I'm sorry, but the man couldn't act his way out of a paper bag if he was being pulled by a towtruck. He hit his professional peak with Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. A far, far better choice would have been someone like Liam Neeson.
