So I loved this story from the trailer I was all for it abd the thing that I was most intrested in was the true story. I knew who the zodiac killer was but I never knew that this was how the story went, but the only thing was that most movies that are based on true storys the people that make the movie add some fake bull sh*t but before this movie starts it says that all that you see in this movie is from real case files. From that point on I was on the edge of my seat. The acting was great Jake Gyllenhaal gave one of the best performances I have ever seen. There is a part when Gyllenhall is in this guys house and he thinks this guy is the Zodiac killer and the way he acted was just great. Robert Downey Jr was awesome and steals every scene he is in and also is a real ass hole. Like there is a part when Gyllenhall goes to see Robert Downey Jr for the first time in years and Downey Jr was the biggest ass hole ever and he is really good at it. Mark Ruffalo as the cop who really wants to find this killer and go home is really good he has lots of screen time more then I think he whould have, but I think that Ruffalo didnt bring his all I really wanted more from him. Oh yeah and the way he leaves the movie sucks he just walks out of a building and thne he is gone, but thats the only thing wrong with acting. The direction is great David Fincher really knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat he knows just like the Social Network and Fight Club you cant look away because you just so into it. The visuals are really good I love the way the city looks it has that creepy feel to it.
Overall I loved this movie it is by far the best movie of 2007 and one of the best movies I have seen in my life so for Zodiac really really earns this rating. 5.0/5.0 stars
