I just really didn't get the stupid humor but somehow it still made me LMAO all the way. The script wasn't really that special but still the way it was presented still made it hilarious! :D The movie takes you back to medieval times where a powerful wizard Lazarr is a threat to Fabius' Kingdom and Fabius along with his brave knights will confront him and rescue his princess...just like old times :) But Fabius also has a not so bright brother Thadeous who really isn't keeping up with the gang. Thadeous too desires to be brave like Fabius but he would have to overcome his fears and for this he'll have to be a part of the journey and save his kingdom.

Well enough of the classic sh*t! Now let's get to the cast. The cast selection was pretty cool James Franco and Danny McBride once again united for an insane comedy which they do best! :) Both coordinated very well and it wasn't easy telling who had the lead role. Justin Theroux was also good as a wizard, though I haven't seen him much in any other movies but still he wasn't bad in this. Natalie Portman was also okay, her role did seem to accommodate some humour but still it wasn't much. I believe Zooey Deschanel to be bad choice for the movie she really didn't do any good with her role and plus she wasn't even meant for the role in the first place. Overall the cast was good, good enough to deliver the humour.

David Gordon Green gave the Direction. David really did bring some stupid stunts where the action sequence and the events really seemed ridiculous but still the movie luckily turned out to be hilarious. It's really hard to describe it, I just was flowing with the movie and some scenes or I would say some encounters were just too good! It really brought out a hell of laughter in me. Unlike other stupid flicks I won't say that the humor was lame or so though it was being intended to be a bit but still it was funny and David really did a good job in it.

Ben Best and Danny McBride himself wrote the plot and I knew something good was coming up. The plot is nothing special but the weird encounters and stupid mistakes made by the gang of brave knights who aren't brave as expected to be is something which turns out to be a hit! :D There was a good balance between physical and verbal humor though physical humor was lesser but still it turned to be laughable. The writers really did a good job.

Summing it up.......The flick unlike other medieval fantasies does bring ridiculous humour but it somehow turns out to be better than what was expected. Franco and McBride fans would definitely love it and for those who did love the Pineapple Express will surely look forward to this one! :)

Well dude I myself am not much of a McBride fan I'm more with Franco but still McBride was better in this flick, atleast he did better than his previous ones. As I said, this flick just somehow turned out to be funny or else I knew McBride might ruin it but still it went great :)
