I write the following review from the standpoint of a self recognized nerd. I have come to grips with my own nerdiness, and i am okay with this realization. So if you know nothing of the comic history or the REAL characters backstories you may like this movie. And there is a scene after the end credits so stick around. Now onto the review. This movie was awful. After the movie was over, i left the theater mad. The story of wolverine is not hard. There is plenty of story and characters there to make a great movie. The problem with this movie is that the writers and director took a big steaming poop onto the characters from the comics. They are there in name only. The actual characters were nowhere to be found. This is terrible on the level of X3, Fantastic Four 2, and Gigli. Yeah i went there.

    How is this on the level of Gili? Explain more in this review so I can understand as to why you thought it sucked. This movie did disappoint me at some parts but not as much as X3 did and I agree that x3 was a big pile of sh*t. Put more effort in your review so I can understand your opinion because not every movie is going to be liked.

    Ok,say you had never read the comic(That will be the case with about 90% of the audience)and you didn't know the back history.I know it is hard,but play along.Would you have liked the movie?Your review and opinion should take that into consideration,you can't expect everyone who goes to see these movies to be a comic nerd.And how many comic adaptations have you seen that were true to the character?Knowing this ,you should have been prepared for the inevitable.I think you should go and see the movie again and pretend you have never read the X-men comics and give a review from that point of view.Who knows,if you can get past that,you might like it.

    Are you kidding me? How is this a review. This is just someone venting on how bad the movie is. No offense Lorenzo but how about "reviewing" the movie instead of just saying "This movie was awful. After the movie was over, i left the theater mad"? Or saying "problem with this movie is that the writers and director took a big steaming poop onto the characters from the comics. They are there in name only".

    How about explaining yourself a little better and actually talk about the movie instead of your feelings. WHY was the movie awful in your opinion? Why did you leave the theater mad? Why do you say the writers and director took a big steaming poop onto the characters from the comic? How so? You explain NOTHING.
