X-Men: First Class: Review By Forrestgump1

Who would have thought it? a mindless summer blockbuster turns out to be one of the best films i have seen this year. If i had to be pick my favorite superhero gang it would be hands down X-MEN. I grew up watching the first 2 along with the cartoon , but after the drag "Wolverine" came out it was decent but it did not meet my expectations. But when i heard this was being made i was delighted. I love Xmen i will always give the genre a second chance and after seeing this i'm glad i did. Xmen first class knows how to intertwine with all the little kids inside all of us. I first knew First Class had so much potential is when the cast was revealed i mean James McAvoy is one of the most talented actors on the planet then Micheal Fassenbender whom i must say he is the show-stealer i think he plays Magneto better then Magneto. In this new installment we get to see some new and old characters. Which made the inner geek in me gleek out!. Then i head the film was being helmed by Micheal Vaughn then again i was relived. But another thing that sort of made me feel sorrow was the fact it was a prequel and usually prequels are never really interesting mainly because if your familiar with the others you know how the film is going to end up. But this film does answer some questions to Professor X's history and Magneto's History and its always nice to have those answers thats why First Class is just perfect.

Charles (McAvoy) is studying to become a professor at oxford university where he is approached by an CIA operative to help them with an assignment. Find out if mutants are being genetically engineered and Charles excepts. Erik (Fassenbender) is hell-bent on revenge and is set on stopping at nothing until the people who tortured him are dead including Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon) who killed his mother in cold blood right in front of him. He is "Frankensteins Monster ... Looking for his Creator". But Charles convinces him to help with operation. So Charles uses an "amplifier" of some sorts to track down Mutants throughout the world and recruit them for a mission to stop Shaw's plan which is almost putting America in World War III its up to the Xmen and there new league and Breed of superheros to stop that from happening. So now Charles is taking them under his wing and teaching them how to use and control there powers so when the situation demands it they can be ready to fight. But no matter what Erik is going to stop at nothing until Shaw is dead get what he deserves. But Shaw has more up his sleeve which includes recruiting some Mutants of his own.

Story: Is fantastic , i mean you can not go wrong here. Its not so much sketchy it just flows well , the whole film moves at such a nice pace it makes us the audience glad we came to see this film. And pretty much i guarantee by the end (well this is what i did) you will be standing up and cheering!. Its to put in lighter and more true terms its awesome!. Acting deserves so much credit here the performances are outstanding and immersible and so touching and believable but the acting award for the movie here goes to Micheal Fassenbender who delivers a chilling , cynical and diabolical performance as the infamous Magneto. It will make you quiver in your seat at how shaky he makes you feel. Thats how strong his performance is , but James McAvoy did a great job as Professor X. There are also some other mutants whom i enjoyed Kevin Bacon , January Jones all did solid and reminds us that Xmen does not have to suck. Directing from the Director of Kick Ass Micheal Vaughn he is one of the best superhero type directors out there and he directs this cast of nitwits beautifully and unlike any other film you will see this year. Visuals were splendid the recreations of the 60's was done in a way you could actually believe it was from the 60's. For a movie like this including a superhero one no doubt its crazy.

Overall: Stunning , Completely and utterly Perfect!. Xmen First Class has everything a summer movie should have , an outstanding cast. Mind-Blowing action sequences & witty humor. It reminds us all why we love Xmen so much. This is the movie to beat this SUMMER!. Now this reminds the best movie of the summer right now but its early and this a lot of other movies that have the edge to take it over. Super 8 does come out next week thats one to look out for. But for now forget Pirates , forget Thor Xmen is the most smart and enhanced superhero flick you can and will see this year , most superhero films tend to get written off but superhero movies this year have been actually good. But First Class has what other films don't have the CAST. This is a whole new cast. Its fresh and they know what there doing and they are just perfect. Its hard to get this kind of rating from me. I'm very skeptical on giving films the highest rating i can bestow so before i give my final say i have to go back and review the whole movie and make sure its worthy of a 5 star rating and i can honestly say that Yes First Class is. I tried and Tried to find flaws but let me be honest i could not. So that should be more than enough to make you rush out and see this now!. But to be frank thats what you need to do. See Xmen first class or forever be left out on one of the best films that is going to be released this year.

Look out for: As most of you already know there is a "brief" cameo (i'm not going to say who) but its quite humorous and probably the best part throughout the whole film.

NO SCENE AFTER THE CREDITS so DO NOT STAY!....
