We Own the Night: Review By SMRTALEC

It was a great father-son, brother bonding story. The action scenes were extremely suspensful and in a way kind of creepy because there was never any big background music, instead it would focus on certain sounds i.e. windshield wiper. The acting was terrific! Phoenix and Duvall were amazing. I was hoping Whalberg would have a bigger role but he still did great. I haven't seen Eva Mendes in a good movie in a while and I thought she played her part very well. Very good direction.
