a GREAT movie..... overall..... could've gone without so much male nudity :P.....

this movie is easily one of the greatest movies to come of 2009, but will probably end up with poor box office though........

it is a GREAT movie, but i don't think very many people will actually "get" what is going on while watching the movie..... would have been great if they don't show Dr. Manhatten's complete FRONTAL NUDE BODY 75% of the time he was on screen!!! UUUKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! and there was a lot of sex scenes too, i "get" that they are part of the story, but go a little easy though

...the plot was great, and a good twist ending...

    DUDE it's rated R and that give it the ability to have as much sex scenes as it can as long as it is not actual PORN, which would be illigal under 21 (PSSSHHHHHHT.) for movies. or so i've heard. a male's body showing on the screen has nothing to do with actual porn so I guess that is another way of saying it was even more faithful to the graphic novel.
    Now i also got another suggestion, I wished if they hid it and showed it in an unrated edition of the movie. just a suggestion cause i siriously didn't like it. not that I have a phoia out of it. LOL. but nudity is something used in many movies and it should not be getting that much attention just for the use of it in a rated R movie - I feel so stupid while writing this after i wrote it about a thousand time - which is kinda obvious when the movie says:
    Rated R for: violence, SEXUAL CONTENT NUDITY (you notice these 2 or no. if you don't then you need glasses.) and language.

    well, Shelley, most of the time when a movie says 'nudity' in the rating, it's not male, it's usually boobs, or butt. And actually, Clinton, I think there was only like... one MAYBE 2 sex scenes. lol

    but THANK YOU!!! I am so glad that you are not a f*g! No one seems to care that Dr. Manhattan is naked half the freaking movie!! What kind of a f*g would actually put that in their movie? Why wasn't he wearing at least SOMETHING? But that's another thing. I found it hard to take the film seriously when he was flashing himself all over the place. and I feel the exact same way about the graphic novel.

    But overall, decent film.

    What did you expect, the film is rated 'R' because of strong graphic violence, sexuality, nudity and language. If you find nudity or sex offensive then you never should have seen the film. I also do not think you give people enough credit. Just because you did not 'get' what was going on does not mean others will.
