The movie had a number of flaws like Dr.Manhattan having a boring physics lecture for almost 50% of the movie (which also made the movie more longer) and him being naked through most of the movie, like I want to see a human sized blue smurf naked with his lipstick showing, I mean my little sister saw that part and I had to make her leave the room after that. The Comedian seems to be a insane anti-hero not superhero, he think nuclear war is funny, that's not funny cause that makes him look like a tool for believing in that sh*t like that. I don't get Nite Owl's 2 and the Silk Specter's 2 relationship, first Owl has a school buy crush on Silk, but she sees him only as a friend and decide to go with Manhattan, and when Manhattan stops having sex with her or stop paying any attention to her, she decides to go with Owl because he 's giving her the attention. Ok is I the only person who thinks this is messed up or what. Also, I don't get why they (besides Rorschach) don't the world it was the guy in the purple suit who killed Innocent lives out of fear of war, but no they decide to keep their mouth shut about it. So that's the flaws, now let me skip to the review.......
The storyline is mostly dark, depressing, and boring. Most of the time they are talking about things not pertaining to the movie or the mystery of the death of the comedian (again minus Rorschach) and again most of the movie theres Dr.Manhattan giving the audience a boring physics lecture that makes the movie more long and boring.
The acting like the storyline was too Dark, depressing, and boring. The only person I can respect enough to like his acting is Jackie Earle Haley who I believe he delivers good enough acting while he plays Rorschach, because he makes Rorschach a real homicidal vigilante with a mixture of Batman and Punisher.
The special effects was crappy. The purple tiger, or jaguar look too fake and those antlers or ears of his looks too fake and creepy, Dr. Manhattan CGI is alright again he looks like a giant human Smurf too me.
The characters are not that interesting enough for me to like them, but Rorschach is the only hero with common sense enough to actually be a hero or anti-hero, Rorschach too me is a mixture of Batman because of his nice detective skills, Batman's nice fighting style and The Punisher because of his homicidal tendencies and those too combination is a nice fit for Rorschach.
So the ups of the movie is the steamy sex scenes (If look real close you can see Silk Specter's boobs), the nice stylized fighting, Rorschach being a bad ass and the mystery of The Comedian death is all pretty cool.
But those ups don't change the fact the movie has too many flaws and too long and boring to convince me it wasn't all that bad, but it was bad.

Yeah, the movie wasn't perfect, the book is way better, but it was a fine effort. I can deal with people having a negative opinion of it if they give credible explanations, but you being too young(note that I was nice and didn't say "too stupid") to get the story is not credible.
What I'm getting at, don't write reviews for movies that you didn't get when the rest of society gets it. It makes you look bad, and it makes the movie look bad.

I think the majority of movies aimed at people above the age of 12 go over your head.

@monkeyiron well first I liked watchmen but it's been a few months since I have seen it so I'll watch it again and re-rate it asap, second everyone changes through out the years I know I have. So I say watch this movie again when your 21 or older and maybe you might change your mind but it's all up to you no pressure what's so ever.

@ZanyZap Oh, no doubt. As you say, we do have more respectable, younger members on the site, which leaves @Monkey with no excuse.

@Supes: Ah, I see, but still, there's a huge difference between immaturity and stupidity. Age is no excuse, and at fifteen, in high school. his thought process shouldn't be comparable to a second grader - a dense second grader. I'm sorry, but I'm sick of reading comments that look like they were fed to a translator over and over again. Reread before posting.
Again, I recommend a second viewing, Mr. Monkeyiron.

@ZanyZap Hey, I say that 'generalization' because I was exactly the same way. At 24, however, and gone through the stepfather thing, I can say I'm no longer like that, but it was my perception at his age (I think he said he was 15 or something), and many of my friends' perception.

"All kids care about when their teenagers is what they see right in front of them." Generalization, Supes; a lot of respectable members on this site are in their teens or early twenties. But I agree, the maturity level in this one is low, as probably, is his SAT and ACT scores. :P Please watch the movie again, kid, or as ejk1 suggested, read the book.

He should at least read the book. He may gain insight.

That's why I suggested he wait until he's an adult. We're expecting an adult reaction from him, when he's a teenager. All kids care about when their teenagers is what they see right in front of them. So yeah, it's a lost cause until then.

On one front, I'm actually impressed. You made a full length review. For that, you get kudos.
However, it is clear that you have no idea what you are talking about. Granted, Watchmen is better as a read than a watch, but this movie is still great on many levels. You only see surface, as Supes said. Do research on the themes of Watchmen, and then rewatch the movie. You may have a different opinion.
Unless, of course, you only care about how much violence and cursing is in a movie. In which case, I'm probably talking to a lost cause.

This movie was fantastic. I'm sorry you can't see past surface material. Maybe you should try watching this movie again when you're an adult, maybe you'll appreciate it more. It'll be waiting for you til then, when you can better grasp its concepts.

...first of all learn English, then try again! You clearly don't know anything about film making, but you're entitled to your own, very ignorant opinion. Bye!
