ok this movie was a prime example of rushing because pretty much the writer tried to fit a hole comic book series into one movie and to me they still left a huge portion of facts and details out that i think where very important and also from my point of view would have made this movie a lot more how you say tasteful and understanding as well as a little more true to those that have never read the comic to me yes this movie could have been a lot better but it wasn't to bad this is a movie to see one or even two times and that's it for me the whole watchmen experience was a little boring yet it did have it's exciting parts

This was by no stretch a rush job. Snyder took his time with the material and it shows. I can't wait to see the full cut.

The opening credits did not take 30 minutes. During the opening credits they give you some history, but I guess you missed that.
I agree completely Vamp.

Movie was lame and took to much of my time up. The opening credits alone took 30 mins. By time the movie started i was already falling asleep.

They didn't rush. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Snyder's attention to detail was astounding. They had to cut scenes out due to run time. It'll all be on the Director's Cut DVD
