The sound track to this movie. Some other review I read on Movieweb said something about the terrible soundtrack that was used. ARE YOU KIDDING ME the music rocked! All sorts of classics were on there my favorite of them was "The Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel. The opening credits song by Bob Dylan was great. The times are A-changing I think its called. All along the watchtower was great. Many others too.
The characters were so well played. The best line of the movie would have to be "I'm not locked in here with you! You're locked in here with ME!" that part of the movie with Rorschach was one of my favorite parts. Man he did a great job in it. It kinda reminded me of Batman/Clint Eastwoods character in Gran Torino with the deep raspy voice. I love it. He carried the movie when I got slow and bogged down. I am wondering what is going to be in the directors cut of Watchmen when it comes out on DVD and Blu-ray. Jeffery Dean Morgan was perfect for the role of The Comedian. He was the sex craved, murdering, dark version of Captain America that seemed in human with emotions until parts int he movie. He could see what was coming he knew what was going to happen. Great performance by him. Patrick Wilson as Night Owl was great. He did a good job in this movie as well he did in Lakeview Terrace. Dr. Manhattan may have had been nude the whole time but was great. Billy Crudup did an excellent job as him in this.
The plot well Rorschach is investigating the murder of The Comedian and finds a plot to kill the Watchmen. Mean while its the cold war and Nuclear threat is at its highest. Dr. Manhattan is building a machine that can recreate his energy for Ozymandias a former Watchmen. well I don't want to give it all away.
There was some pretty graphic sex scene in this I was not expecting hahaha wow I think thats the first time I've seen that in a comic book film. Not for little kids to watch hahaha damn that Blue guy ahahaha. This is an awesome film to watch I hope you see it. This movie did give me anything when I left really No big feeling like after watching The Dark Knight all I got was I have to PEE SO F*CKING BAD! I'm not saying I didn't like it I just didn't get really excited when I finished watching it. I didn't get goosebumps, but I did get goosebumps for Rorschach damn He was awesome. I wasn't so exciting but It was damn good.
WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMEN? I HOPE YOU DO! 10/10

Same rating from me. I've read snippets of the comic over the past 17yrs and only recently bought & read the whole thing in a few days time. Excellent story. They handled the adaptation well. I hear an extended cut will be out on DVD in July.

a pretty good movie thankfully i went into this without reading the graphic novel itself sometimes being a purist isn't a good thing cause people get mad Zack Snyder has some of the same elements from his previous works, like Dawn of the Dead and 300 there's there slow-motion shooting, bloody violence, and sexuality i was a bit thrown off b/c of the disjointed plot, basically alot of flashbacks and no buildup The Comedian I hated the most, Dr. Mahattan and Rorshach were the most appealing out of all the heroes, Silk Spectre II's performance was terrible some of the dialogue wasn't written that well either overall: it's a great new take on the superhero genre and how the humanity can fall into chaos when both heroes and villains act i also loved the cinematography and the scope of the film too! :)
