People didn't go to see it because it was only shown in 1800 theaters across the country. For example only 3 theaters in maine showed this movie.

When i went to see this i didnt expect it to be as good as it was. i thaught it was going to be a good movie and kind of like never back down. But it ended up being completely different and was amazing. This is the only movie that has ever made me cry to out of emotinon and that was a first for me. and i dont know why it did bad in the box office because the movie was well marketed and the reviues were great. It will probably come back to theaters when the oscars are around.

This movie was incredible. Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton deserve awards after their performances. Should have done much better in theaters!! Don't know if some people didn't go thinking it was just a "beat em up" type of movie because it wasn't. It was intense, emotional and it was the first movie ever that actually had me almost rising from my seat cheering right there in the theater. GO SEE THIS FILM!! You will not regret it!! GO TOM AND JOEL!!! You guys were amazing!!!!!
