not always so. Long before his soul was fused with that of the orc shaman Ner'zhul, the Lich King was Arthas Menethil, crown prince of Lordaeron and faithful paladin of the Silver Hand. When a plague of undeath threatened all that he loved, Arthas was driven to pursue an ill-fated quest for a runeblade powerful enough to save his homeland. Yet the object of his search would exact a heavy price from its new master, beginning a horrifying descent into damnation. Arthas's path would lead him through the arctic northern wastes toward the Frozen Throne, where he would face, at long last, the darkest of destinies.

Gotta play warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne expansion again to remind myself off good old Arthas becoming Death knight and then LK, but i do hope they put a battle between illidan and Arthas that happened before Arthas became Lich King

WOW...and i mean that in every aspect, there is a strong division where i live between W.O.W. players, and W.O.W. haters. i personally am in the middle, W.O.W. has always been a small interest of mine, i just wouldnt have the time or capacity to play it. but it'll be interestin to see what comes of it on the big screen.
