A nine-year-old boy named Valentin (Noya) living with his grandmother (Maura) in Buenos Aires in the late 1960s discovers that his family has problems that only he can solve. Specifically, he dreams of being reunited with his mother, who is separated from Valentin's abusive father (Agresti) who uses him to attract new girlfriends like the attractive Leticia (Cardinali), whom Valentin himself befriends.
