Vacancy: Review By The_Fallen_One

This is another movie like Darkness Falls or Ghost Ship.I had so many people tell me how bad it was that when i got around to watching it i did'nt really see what made it so awful.Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Darkness Falls,Ghost Ship and Vacancy are Great movies but they are not without they're charms.I personally thought this movie opened well remaining tense and realistic but this movie just never really goes anywhere we have'nt already been.And mid-way through the movie you lose interest in what is going on.i will give credit to the cast because for a while I cared what was going to happen,they're fear seemed genuine and the way they dealt with the situation near the beginning seemed realistic to me.One thing i HAVE to say about the cast is the bad guy (from kids in the hall) is one of the least threatening people i've ever seen!A six year old with a sock full of doorknobs could take this bitch out!I laughed at his character more than anything else,especially when he throws one of the nerdiest,whitest tantrums I have ever heard!It was a good long scene too!With him screaming"Drat!!darn!!Sh*t!Ass!Fudgicles!!" and banging his head off walls and stuff.if a movie is only as good as your bad guy then why in the hell would you cast someone from "Kids in the hall"?But everyone else tried and it has it's moments.Watch it once and trade it in.
