Have you ever looked at the world as it is today and are fed up with it? Have you ever thought our government was dragging us deeper and deeper into debt? Have you ever wanted to step up and change things? If you believe in these things, then you need to step into the world of V for Vendetta.

The screenplay was fantastic. Based off the best selling graphic novel written by Alan Moore and illustrated by David Lloyd, Larry Wachowski and Andy Wachowski have written a fantastic screenplay that stays true to Alan Moore's story. One of the best things about the screenplay was how it updated the novel to fit a modern day look and make it more believable today than it would be in 1997 and they deserve a lot of recognition for their fantastic screenplay.

The acting in this film was brilliant. Everybody who appeared in V for Vendetta brought their "A" game and career making performances but the real standouts were Hugo Weaving as V, Natalie Portman as Evey, Stephen Rea as Detective Eric Finch, and Stephen Fry as Gordon Deitrich. Hugo Weaving gives a masterful performance as V as Weaving totally gets lost behind the mask and totally becomes V as he puts passion into the words he speaks and Weaving proves why he's one of the best in the business. Natalie Portman was also good as Evey Hammond as Portman was able to play all of Eveys conflicting feelings of love and hate perfectly and they way she was able to blend the two was absolutely amazing and its definitely one of Portman's best roles. Stephen Rea was excellent as Detective Finch as he plays a man who must uphold the law but as he learns more of the dark history of Great Britain, the more he believes anarchy is the only way to live and Rea played it beautifully and was right for the role. Stephen Fry as Gordon Deitrich was good and hilarious as Fry brings his signature comedy to the film and keeps the film enjoyable as only Stephen Fry knows how.

The directing done by James McTeigue was good, definitely his best work. Although he doesn't do anything special with the film, he definitely captures every scene at the right angles and was definitely the right choice to direct this movie.

The visuals were great along with the cinematography by Adrian Biddle. What amazed me about it was how the captured Great Britain beautifully and help make the film more thrilling and amazing and it was one of the best things about the film.

Overall I give the film 8/10 stars. V for Vendetta is a great film that asks a question that's on everyone's mind: "Lives of your own, or return to the chains" and if you're not thinking this then this film will make you think and believe in anarchy. V for Vendetta was one of the best films of 2006 and V asks only one thing of you: "Remember, Remember, the 5th of November."

Alan Moore is a brilliant writer when it comes to comic books and that transfers over very nicely to this film.
