Upside Down (2013)

Ever since Adam (Jim Sturgess) and Eden (Kirsten Dunst) fell in love as teens, their bond has faced astronomical odds. The pair are separated not just by social class and a political system bent on keeping them apart, but also by a freak planetary condition: they live on twinned worlds with gravities that pull in opposite directions—he on the poverty-stricken planet below, she on the wealthy, exploitative world above. Their budding but illicit romance screeches to a tragic halt when interplanetary-border patrol agents catch them and Eden suffers an apparently fatal fall. But when, ten years later, Adam learns she is alive and working at a vast corporation whose towering headquarters connects their planets, he sets out on a dangerous quest to infiltrate the company and the upper world to reconnect with her. UPSIDE DOWN is a visually stunning romantic adventure that poses the question: what if love was stronger than gravity? More »

    Upside Down (2013)

I love how this film explains the setup of the complicated plot, thus, making it easier for the audience to blend in and adopt.

The love story it entails is nothing new but the big picture is the idea of making the heaven & earth romance in a quite literal way but with figurative blend.

I just feel that there are shortcomings on how Adam end up on his work and from that after, the story seems to be cut down and the ending comes right away.

This looks pretty amazing. A whole different concept to a movie. I like it it a lot by the looks of the trailer.

well i love the idea, i really want to watch this. also this film is a total rip off of a the classic PS1 game "Tales of Destiny" and "Tales of Destiny" which isn't a bad thing i love the "Tales" franchise as a whole and i recommend buying a copy (even if you don't like JRPG's the people who do would like to play these games in our own language, and as such needs our support) also i just took a look to my right and saw the "More Movies Like This" thing and I'm impressed really because its advertising "Castle in the Sky" which was inspired by joules vern's classic tale of "Journey to Atlantis" or was it 20k Leagues Under the Sea" either way the one about atlantis. its a goos film and i highly recommend it.

Can't wait to see this. I bet Dunst will do great. She really made her comeback with "All Good Things."
