United 93: Review By Jakn

Respecting what happened on that dark and terrorizing day, Paul Greengrass shows the true events of 9/11 in 'United 93' that were meant to be known from the lives lost on that day

I do have to admit that 'United 93' is sometimes hard to watch, but I'm not saying it in a negative way. It's based on the fact that the film's showing what really happened on that day when many lives were lost from those attacks. I think Paul Greengrass knew that some people where going to have a hard watching this during some scenes, but he wasn't doing it to offend people, he is showing audiences these 40 people sacrificing their lives to stop that fourth attack from these terrorists, and I will say this. During the scenes of on the fourth plane, even though the 40 people on that plane are being played by actors, you are not just seeing the actors, you are seeing Heroes!

They were heroes that were just regular American citizens on a plane that were suddenly being terrified and scared by these abominable terrorists thinking that they were being heroes. Those 40 people were the heroes and they gave up their lives to prevent the fourth attack from hitting their target. Those are heroes, and I will say it again. Those 40 passengers were heroes of the country that must be greatly and forever thanked for stopping the fourth attack, even though those 40 citizens aren't alive to this day, they still should be thanked, and I thank those 40 people for doing it.

The actors playing those 40 people are representing the actual lives during the attack that make you forget that their even actors. That is why I say that you are seeing Heroes during this movie. Every actor in this film is using their acting flawlessly and greatly, even though these are never-before seen actors on screen, they know how to act; you actually feel that you're there during the fourth attack feeling the people's life's being freighted and scared to death.

Other than the actors during the attack, Paul Greengrass actually uses people that were involved on the day of September 11 2001 at airport stations before and after the attacks.

This isn't the story of the first plane, this isn't the story of the second plane, and this isn't the story of the third plane. This is the story of the fourth plane that the passengers prevented from hitting its target. This part of story of 9/11 is what everybody around the world should have known about. That's what Paul Greengrass does. He shows the story of the fourth airplane. Parton me for being redundant, but I'm trying to put this respectfully.

'United 93' is indeed terrifying to watch, but not anything like a horror film. The reason why this is scary to watch is because these events on 9/11 are true and known well around the world, but I have to say not as well known as Greengrass shows us. The story of the fourth attack in 'United 93' I had no idea about until I saw this.

I haven't seen much of Paul Greengrass's movies but I have to say that watching this in such a truthful and respecting way of showing the events of September 11 2001 actually feeling the pain of people being scared till there last breath and bring more strong sobbering feelings, this has to be Greengrass's best work ever. Paul Greengrass knows how to be honest about September 11. Most movie directors can't do this in such a way that Greengrass does. Not just any other normal Hollywood movie director could be truthful with September 11 2001.

'United 93' is gut-wrenching, heart-breaking, tragic, respectful, and a very important achievement that will be remembered by everybody that sees this film for decades. It's unforgettable! This is possibly the most important movie that I've ever seen, and not only that this is a great movie, but this is the best movie that is based on a true story that I've ever seen! If you haven't seen this, then see it because you don't know anything about the fourth attack on September 11 like this.

This made me so heart-broken that I couldn't even say a word to anybody for hours, all because of the tragedy of that fourth attack that I had no idea about.

I really liked this movie, but it made me feel physically ill watching it. I've never felt that way watching a movie. And no, it wasn't something I ate.
