with all the sci/fi ,family comedies and other rubbish hollywood likes to throw at us ,its nice to see the cohen brothers take left field and bring us a film gerne that hollywood hasnt touched in a long time,yes its a remake

but its more true to the book than the original film ,anyway when i first herd

that there was going to be a remake ,and herd jeff bridges was going to portray this icon character rooter cogburn, i thought to myself noway ,now ill

have to eat some humble pie ,

all i can say jeff will another oscar nod here ,but the real stand for me is the young actress Hailee Steinfeld

her portral of the young ,looking for revenge of her father killer is one of the standout performances i seen in a long time ,also i would say she should get an oscar nod,

alos matt damon us marshell is good awell ,

all performances are good or great,

and the cohen brothers give the film a great feel and look ,the only let down i felt was the end,(spoiler alert) when hailee steinfeld character is all grown up and is to meet rooster cogburn ,but he passed away few days before ,to me it didnt feel right maybe bacause i love the characters and would love to see a sequal of some sort .

anyway i think this film would be one of the best films for 2010
