This is a great epic tale of good vs evil filled with a good looking cast. Brad Pitt and Eric Bana give us one of the greatest one on one combat in movie history. Not only for the action itself, but for the stakes which are high. I also like the addition of Sean Bean who is somewhat sidelined for great dialogue between him and Pitt. Is great how Achilles challenges Hector. Its very well done. Almost like how I am challenging the Visionary whenever he's around.

A great must see! A great epic it will be!

    Menalaus (King of Greece) never died in the story of "The Iliad" and the war raged on for a decade, while the film killed off Menalaus early to make a point, which worked for the story being told in the amount of time they had, and they also set it up as if it had taken place over the course of a month, which I suppose also works for the story.

    Either way, this was a great movie through & through, and I liked it a lot. A very good epic that we hadn't seen emerge from the woodworks of Hollywood for a long time. Overall, this was WAY overdue!!!!!!!!!!!!
