So the sh*tty story is 2 siblings whose mother and father die, so they are messed up, and kill people with a ventriloquist dummy that I couldn't ever figure out whether it was alive, or being controlled by one of them. Either way, it sucks.
Then you got the horrible acting by the cute girl, and the brother, who I think was mentally retarded or something. They were trying so hard to be sinister, but it came off as laughable and stupid.
This is the writer/director of the first Leprechaun. And guess what! Leprechaun is actually better than this! All of those movies are better than this. Though I will say while this is more entertaining, even Leprechaun 4: In Space is actually better. Pretty much anything is better than this. Then why did I give this any stars at all you ask? Well, I'm a weak guy, who likes that cute girl. Plus while it was pretty lame, it had some funny (unintentionally) moments.
So, if you were expecting a well thought out, and planned review, I'm sorry. I know this isn't the best of reviews... But it still gets the word out there, which is all I need to do

True, the leprechaun flicks are all slated as horror comedies so I guess they deserve more credit for thinking of them as such...unless they were called that AFTER they realized how sucky their attempt at a horror movie was. lolz!

Thanks, 313td.
lol, Yentz. You're right about the girl. Looked a lot like Kristen Bell now that I think about it... And I agree with it was so bad, it wasn't even funny. I did laugh at a few scattered parts, but not enough to call the overall movie "so bad, it's good"
Good theory, Slysnide. You're probably right. They're probably trying to be funny/clever, and it didn't even work, because I didn't even get it. lol. And I wouldn't give the Leprechauns 0, just low. At least all but the 4th, are funny.

it does sound retarted. nice job at capturing that. though i'd rate any leprechaun sequel a zero.
and since the film's not called VENtriloquist, then whoever came up with the title was probably playing off the idea of TRI=3 such that implying that both siblings control the dummy, as does the dummy itself.

Yeah, man, I completely agree... This movie was trash. It wasn't even so bad it is was funny. I actually felt embarrassed for the director of the film it was so awful. This flick is testament to atrocious filmmaking. And I'm gad you described why you even gave it half a star... I'll give ya that one--she actually reminded me of Kristen Bell... Ooh-la-la...
