This film has been been on my personal watch list for close to two years now. After pushed back more than twice I finally got the chance to view this film and boy was it worth the wait.

The film is four interlocking stories that go on throughout Halloween night in a small Ohio town that believes in following all true Halloween traditions and urban legends. A principal explains what Halloween is all about, a virgin, her sister and their friends dress up for a Halloween party in the woods were someone or something is lurking with a secret exposed in the end that is very entertaining, a group of young teens set out to collect jack-o-lanterns to pay tribute to those who died from a tragedy, and an old man is paid a visit by some old friends and the dark past is revealed. I dont want to give too much away about the plot because this truly is a great Halloween film.

Overall this film is very satisfying. Great cast, great visuals, and most of all a plot that doesnt miss a beat. I say that the wait was really worth it. I highly recommend that you see this film. It is the perfect Halloween film in my opinion.

    i love this movie! great review! and i just noticed that on the poster it says that this is a bryan singer film ? i didnt know that? i dont have great vision , i could be wrong though

    Yeah Id been waiting for this to be released for a pretty good while too. I thought it was a pretty good movie to sit at home with your friends. I found it fun to watch. Is the best Halloween hell no but is it worth seeing in my opinion yes. People seem to forget that everybody has different taste in movies and dog something out when others might enjoy it as well. I thought Pandorum was sh*tty but I still told my friends to check it out for themselves. Just give it a try you guys.

    I just watched this. This movie is sh*tty. It's not scary and it's not a good Halloween film. Very disappointed in this and to give this a 4.5 star is just stunning. Terrible movie makes this review even worse.

    i agree.. i don't want this spoiled to me.. i wanna watch it first.. but is this released in theaters or on blu ray.. i'm not getting this.. its so confusing.. sorry i haven't been to the theater in arround 2 weeks.. and i didn't notice anything close to that in the theaters or commercials that it will be released in the theaters.. did you just get it off dvd and blu ray?

    Im sorry if this review is vague. I did watch the film and I did enjoy. I didnt want to spoil anything for anybody until after it is officially released because many people have been waiting for such a long time for it to be released. I enjoy the feedback and will have it updated.

    You say that you didn't want to give away too much, but you don't give us anything that we could just go to wiki to find out for ourselves. You just gave us the synopsis and you just say it was very good. Honestly, from this review, I doubt you really saw this at all. Sorry man, but this review isn't helpful at all.
