First off let me just say, I don't want to spend too long writing a review for this movie since their is so much wrong with it, I feel like not getting into detail, so here's a quick review of what I thought about the box office hit sequel, Revenge of the Fallen.....

Back in 2007 Michael Bay brought us an amazing summer movie filled with action, explosions, and humor. It was a real good movie and highly entertaining. In 2009 we were visually assualted with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen; a movie soaked in over the top, non-stop action and covered in fatty grease smeared all over the story in a awful mess of a movie.

It's like Transformers on crack. It ramps up everything from the first film and amplifies it by cranking the intensity knob over 10x; if you want action, you get action! No denying in how unbelievable awesome it is, but at the same time thinking logically, it's pure trash to the max.

I think of it as one of those, "leave your brain at the door and just drool on yourself while you watch this" kind of movie. It's a guilty pleasure movie at it's best. It's that thousand calorie big ass burger you ate that tasted so good but felt so wrong to eat in a matter of minutes; That's the best way to put it.

The story is all over the place, you know what, who cares about the story, it has no story, it basically makes up the plot as the movie goes it seems like. I heard that the writers were locked up in a 5-star hotel room for two weeks with the complete animated series to watch and in those two weeks they put together a script. Well done Michael Bay, well done you locked up your writers and they churned out a sh*t story.

Sure the acting is just acting, but hey whatever we're just here to check out Megan Fox and her nasty girl body. Shia Labeouf returns as Sam, but he's not exactly grown up...haven't changed in a bit. The only great thing I loved about this was the forrest fight scene, that was the only enjoyable thing they done right. Of course was only a cop out to stop writing for Optimus Prime and only helped waste another hour before he was revived and came back.

Did I forget to mention we have goofy racist robots?! What's better than some ghetto ass Transformer twins? Throw in some more explosions. I'm sure that's how the script was written: Action and explosions, followed by Optimus Prime kicking ass and then another shot of Megan Fox follwed by some dirty humor too.

Their you have it. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen a rich, thick, greasy, chessy, dripping with fat. guilty pleasure, crammed with action and little plot summer movie. It's everything you ever wanted in a sequel, and features more than you asked for.

@ROFLitschristian I liked that idea of a Terminator-esque "pretender" they should have used that idea for the third movie instead.

@ghostman The biggest flaw, in my opinion, was NOT the Destructor's balls. It was the blonde chick with the robot tail and mechanical tongue...

@ghostman: I know many people hated this movie, but I liked it (I agree it's not as good as the first one though). It was an entertaining film for me. Great review, as always. :-)

@ROFLitschristian Yes, at the time of being a teenage boy back in 09 I saw it on the huge IMAX screen so of course i enjoyed it, but after awhile watching it with an open mind, I find all kinds of things wrong with it.

@ghostman You know what, I agree with this one too. I remember going into it with my uncle knowing all the negativity surrounding it. When I walked out I thought it was pretty cool. But then a couple weeks ago I saw what it really was on FX... LoL
